Scrap metal prices in Germany have started to decline as inventories remain high and mill demand stays weak.

While export outlets to Turkey and Italy remain active, domestic buyers are cautious due to oversupply and low steel production levels.

Industry participants expect prices to stabilize in early November if export activity improves.
